Drawing #1. Milk and Sugar Days

So here's the start of the blog. Here's just a quick little chalk pastel piece I did. I can't say I'm too sure where I was going with the color scheme. But I here's how I got the idea for this one. I was reading this poem. Called "I Heard You Take Your Coffee Black Now" browsing through redbubble and I just loved it. It's found right at http://www.redbubble.com/people/kuroda/writing/6006456-i-heard-you-take-your-coffee-black-now It reminded me of myself. Earlier in the year I hated being here so much and I just never slept and I would drink black coffee because it had this strong taste that almost forced me to be awake. These days I've been all gushy and happy and I suppose I'm in my Milk and Sugar days where I'm smiling and being happy despite an insane work load. It's just funny to see how my coffee can reflect my state of mind.
